A well-established transport and distribution company based in Quedgeley, Gloucester is seeking motivated Delivery / Collection Drivers to support its growing delivery network. The company is known for its professional service, reliability, and focus on customer satisfaction, ensuring all parcels and goods are delivered safely and on time.
As a Delivery / Collection Driver, you’ll be responsible for carrying out multiple collections and deliveries each day, providing a friendly and efficient service to customers. This temporary position is ideal for individuals who enjoy being on the move and want to work within a supportive, professional team. The role runs from 09:00am to approximately 17:00–18:00, depending on workload.
Responsibilities:- Completing multiple collections and deliveries across the local area
- Loading and unloading goods, ensuring items are handled with care
- Planning and following efficient delivery routes
- Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point
- Maintaining vehicle cleanliness and ensuring compliance with road regulations
- A valid UK driving licence held for at least one year
- No more than six penalty points on your licence
- Previous experience with multi-drop deliveries or collections (advantageous but not essential)
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Punctual, presentable, and organised
