An exciting opportunity has opened for a motivated and organised Executive Assistant to join a thriving, family-owned business based in Quedgeley, near Junction 12 of the M5. This role will support the Founder in daily operations and play an essential part in the smooth running of the team. This position is ideal for someone with some administrative experience who is ready to step up to an Executive Assistant role, bringing confidence, organisational skills, and a positive attitude. If you’re a born organiser with a talent for keeping things on track, this could be the perfect role for you!

Salary: £20,000 to £28,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Location: Quedgeley, with on-site parking

Days: Monday to Friday (Office based)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide general administrative support to the Founder, assisting with daily tasks and business operations.
  • Manage the Founder’s calendar, including scheduling appointments and organising meetings.
  • Arrange travel and accommodation bookings, including coordinating travel itineraries.
  • Attend networking events and meetings with the Founder to support relationship building.
  • Answer phone calls and handle correspondence professionally, redirecting as necessary.
  • Maintain and update records, perform data entry, and prepare basic reports.
  • Organise internal meetings, manage logistics, and arrange refreshments when needed.
  • Coordinate staff social events and assist with event planning for the company.
  • Assist with document preparation and minor financial administration tasks, including spreadsheet updates.

Requirements:

  • Some experience in an administrative or assistant role (ideally 1 year or more).
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • Organisational skills with attention to detail and a proactive approach.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and meet deadlines.

Work Permissions: You must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Visa sponsorship is not available at this time.
