Job Overview

This Audit Manager role is ideal for an experienced audit professional currently operating at Manager level or a strong Assistant Manager ready to progress. The successful Audit Manager will oversee a varied portfolio of clients, lead audit assignments from planning through to completion and work closely with senior leadership to deliver an exceptional client experience.

Location: London, within walking distance of Liverpool Street Underground Station.

Working Pattern: Office based during probation, then hybrid (3 to 5 days in office depending on work commitments)

Salary: £60,000 to £75,000 depending on experience

Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Managing a portfolio of audit clients across a broad range of industries
  • Leading audits from planning through to completion
  • Reviewing audit work prepared by junior team members
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact
  • Supporting, mentoring and developing junior members of the audit team
  • Ensuring audit assignments are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  • Collaborating closely with Partners and senior leadership on client delivery and strategic projects

Here are the skills you’ll need:

  • Previous experience working as an Audit Manager or ready to progress into an Audit Manager role
  • Strong audit experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
  • ACA or ACCA qualified preferred
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills
  • Strong technical audit knowledge and attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple audit assignments and deadlines effectively
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to team leadership
