Reporting to the Programme Director, the Project Management Office (PMO) Analyst supports the Programme Director in coordinating and managing the end-to-end transformation activity across the firm. You will play a lead role in supporting Programme Managers, Project Managers and Business Analysts in delivery, while also being responsible for ensuring all key decisions, minutes and actions are accurately recorded and stored for audit purposes and traceability. This is a Fixed Term Contract, hybrid role, based in our Swindon office, with the requirement to be in the office 3 days a week.

Key Accountabilities

  • Master Planning and RAID Maintenance
    • Maintain plans and ensure they reflect live status
    • Understand dates, dependencies and interconnectivity between activities
    • Maintain all master planning data such as key milestones, dates
    • Maintain all RAID information
  • Change Control and Governance
    • Ensure requests for changes to scope, dates, costs and benefits are logged and reported
    • Ensure decisions are recorded, logged and communicated
    • Ensure change request process and governance is understood
  • Benefits Tracking and KPI’s
    • Own the master list of all project benefits and KPI’s and ensure linkage with strategic measures
  • Reporting & Communications
    • Minutes and note taking in key forums
  • Cost, Capacity & Resource Management
    • Support the Programme Director in managing transformation costs and provide accurate forecasting
    • Support the Programme Director in monitoring the organisational capacity and transformation resource plans

What will you need to succeed?

  • Experience working in Change & Transformation, either in PMO or delivery roles, or in large scale transformation projects.
  • Management Consulting or Professional Services background is beneficial
  • Understand the full project lifecycle including the key actors and roles within a project
  • Have a track record in managing and maintaining delivery plans and key delivery information such as RAID data
  • Knowledge of project management lifecycle, techniques and tools
  • Understanding of Programme Management Methodologies
  • Understanding of Project Governance and Assurance
  • Ambitious ‘go getter’ who uses initiative and acts without having to be asked
  • Ability to collate and produce high quality documentation
  • Skilled at managing stakeholder groups, comfortable with communicating at all levels to ensure reporting deadlines are achieved
  • Continuous improvement, look for ways to enhance ways of working across the TMO. This includes suggesting ideas to improve efficiencies, evaluating current processes, and finding opportunities to implement.
