The opportunity Growing our adviser headcount is at the heart of our missions and key to the future of our Partnership. This role drives the delivery of the Openwork Partnership’s growth strategy by enabling consistent, high‑quality adviser recruitment activity across the network. You'll provide motivation, leadership, coaching and oversight to ensure ambitious targets are achieved, processes are improved and our customers are delighted. You'll bring direction, organisation and energy to an already thriving recruitment team, passionate about what we do. The role is a connector across Recruitment, Marketing, Onboarding and the wider Partnership to remove barriers, improve ways of working and strengthen our presence in the external market.

- Bonus scheme - on target bonus - 15%

The role involves:
- Lead, coach and develop a team of recruiters to deliver a first class adviser recruitment service.
- Own delivery governance for adviser recruitment, ensuring effective planning, prioritisation and resource allocation.
- Build effective working relationships across recruitment, marketing, onboarding, development and central teams to deliver a seamless end‑to‑end candidate journey.
- Drive proactive sourcing activity (market mapping, referrals, networks and direct search) to build a sustainable pipeline of high‑quality adviser candidates.
- Partner with marketing to maximise the use of campaigns and materials, ensuring a consistent and compelling proposition is communicated to prospective advisers.
- Oversee candidate management from initial engagement through onboarding handover, supporting a positive experience and reducing early attrition.
- Track and report key recruitment metrics (activity, pipeline, conversion, quality and time‑to‑appoint), providing insight and actions to improve performance.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes, tools and ways of working; share best practice and embed consistent standards across the team.
What will you need to succeed?
- Demonstrable experience leading and coaching a recruitment or sales team from within financial services, ideally advice.
- Developed stakeholder management skills, experience working with multiple teams to deliver the end‑to‑end hiring journey.
- Proven ability to manage by data: setting targets, tracking KPIs (pipeline, conversion, time‑to‑appoint, quality).
- Experience improving recruitment processes and ways of working, balancing pace with quality and governance.
- Maintains a sound understanding of the UK financial advice market, competitor propositions and adviser career pathways.
- Clear, credible communication, able to tailor messages for candidates, senior stakeholders and cross‑functional partners.
- Ability to influence, build trust, align priorities, and negotiate outcomes to remove barriers and deliver at pace.
- Confidence when presenting, sharing insight, and representing the proposition to internal and external audiences.
- Accountability mindset, delivers on commitments, maintains accurate updates, and drives actions through to completion.
- Understanding of proactive sourcing and attraction strategies.
- Data‑led mindset, confident using data to track pipeline, conversion and quality and drive performance interventions.
