As a Recruiter in our Financial Advice Recruitment Team, you will work closely with advice firms across The Openwork Partnership network, and support in recruiting both employed and self‑employed Financial Advisers and Mortgage & Protection Advisers, playing a key role in delivering growth plans and contributing to the long‑term success of the Partnership.

This is a hybrid opportunity with regular presence in our Swindon Head Office.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with adviser firms across The Openwork Partnership to adopt their growth and recruitment objectives.
  • Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process for Financial Advisers and Mortgage & Protection Advisers in both employed and self‑employed roles.
  • Take detailed vacancy briefs and provide expert recruitment advice to firms.
  • Proactively source, headhunt and engage high‑calibre candidates through LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, networking, referrals and market mapping activities.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines of Financial Advisers and Mortgage & Protection Advisers across the UK.
  • Develop strong relationships with firm principals, hiring managers and key stakeholders to recognise current and future hiring needs.
  • Identify and drive new recruitment opportunities within the Partnership network.
  • Manage multiple vacancies simultaneously while delivering an exceptional candidate and client experience.
  • Coordinate interviews, manage offer negotiations and support candidates through onboarding and joining processes.
  • Provide market insight, recruitment trends and salary benchmarking to firms.
  • Advise firms on selection, assessment and attraction strategies to achieve successful hiring outcomes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure recruitment activity supports wider business objectives.
  • Work to agreed recruitment targets, KPIs and service standards.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience recruiting Financial Advisers, Wealth Managers, Mortgage & Protection Advisers or other adviser‑facaded financial services professionals would be highly advantageous.
  • Understanding of employed and self‑employed adviser recruitment models.
  • Experience in proactive sourcing, headhunting and talent pooling.
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship‑building skills.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to identify opportunities and influence hiring decisions.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities and working in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of FCA‑regulated environments would be beneficial.
  • Passion for delivering outstanding service and building long‑term relationships.
  • Knowledge of adviser charging models, employed and self‑employed adviser structures, and the regulatory requirements associated with adviser recruitment.
  • Ability to identify potential compliance considerations during the recruitment process and ensure candidates meet the appropriate qualification and regulatory standards.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain talent pipelines through networking, referrals, market mapping, and proactive candidate engagement.
  • Experience working to recruitment KPIs, placement targets and service level agreements.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM systems and candidate sourcing tools to identify and engage passive talent.
