The opportunity: As the Digital & Operational Lead you will be responsible for ensuring the effective optimisation of digital systems and operational processes to support organisational objectives. A principal focus is ensuring the systematic capture and transfer of critical knowledge, and the Adviser Portal information database is accurate, comprehensive and easily accessible to all users. You will ensure the effective development and maintenance of information in line with compliance and regulatory requirements and to publish optimised and relevant material to enhance the user experience. The Digital & Operational Lead is expected to work closely with different departments to gather information, identify gaps and ensure accuracy and consistency of the content. This is a 9 month fixed term role with the requirement to be in the Swindon office 3 days a week.

Key Accountabilities:
- Coordinating and overseeing the end-to-end knowledge capture and transfer process.
- Ensure consistency and taxonomy alignment across all knowledge types aligned to business capabilities.
- Support validation by knowledge receivers and establish a review cycle to ensure knowledge remains current.
- Convert complex business processes, operational practices, customer insight and other critical knowledge into accessible, structured artefacts.
- Oversee the development of digital platforms, ensuring seamless integration and security across all systems.
- Drive creation and delivery of seamless experiences that support the adviser journey and generate measurable ROI.
- Harness data analytics and deliver actionable business intelligence to inform strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify needs, resolve challenges, and deliver impactful solutions.
What will you need to succeed?
- Proven experience in supporting digital and operational transformation.
- Experience in knowledge management, technical writing, process documentation and taxonomy.
- Experience in Financial services industry – desirable.
- Confident in using digital systems and tools such as Word, Visio, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Umbraco.
- Technical knowledge and understanding of digital systems, business operations and technology trends.
- Familiarity of knowledge base software and other related digital tools.
- Understanding of data security, compliance and organisational best practices.
- Clear stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work across functional teams with a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Strategic thinking and planning abilities to develop and implement a knowledge management strategy that aligns with the company goals.
