This is an exceptional opportunity for someone from a sales background to undertake a role in which you can literally have a life changing impact upon your clients. You may be an existing Protection Adviser, or you may be an inexperienced, but sales driven, individual, who wants to get started in the industry. The key thing is that you are passionate about understanding your clients’ needs and about giving outstanding levels of service to the customer, based on their individual protection requirements. You will be provided with some leads and will work closely with the firms Practice Principle to help you build on existing and new client relationships. It will involve meeting clients both face to face and virtually, having quality consultations about the clients’ protection needs. You will be supported by an administration team so you can really maximise your earning potential and focus on the customer. Crucially, you will be quality focused, passionate about the importance of great protection advice, hardworking, and willing to go the extra mile to provide a 5-star service to clients. This is a self employed opportunity with some initial financing available to support you transition into a self employed role. Conducting appointments with clients in a friendly and engaging manner. Providing thorough quotations for all client protection requirements. Explaining protection products in a concise way and elucidating recommendations at a level each client understands. Providing a written recommendation to confirm the best advice to meet the client requirements, following a comprehensive fact-find. Assessment and review of existing policies based on changes of circumstances. Making recommendations and amendments to existing cover when required. Working to gain referrals and to expand your flow of leads by making effective connections. Ensuring thorough compliance at all times, keeping accurate records and providing documented reports. What will you need to succeed: Ideally, you’ll have some experience within financial services. You must have strong communication skills; be client focused and have a passion for providing an excellent service. You will be enthusiastic, ambitious and tenacious.
