Job Description

TNS Financial Solutions Ltd are a successful Strategic Partner firm of the Openwork Partnership network, they are looking to strengthen their adviser support team by recruiting an experienced Financial Administrator to join their team based in their offices in Boston, Lincolnshire.

About the Role

They are seeking a dedicated Financial Administrator to join their already successful adviser support team. Our ethos is rooted in providing a high-quality, superior service to each of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting one of our financial advisers with day-to-day business administration, ensuring smooth operations with the firm.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to build a strong career in financial services. There’s the chance to progress into a paraplanning role in future, with support for exams and development along the way. Equally, we really value experienced administrators who want to stay in this role and continue to be an integral part of the team — both pathways are vital to our business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer and directing phone calls
  • Greeting visitors to the office making teas/coffees for client meetings
  • Dealing with incoming & outgoing post
  • Action email requests from advisers & clients
  • General office duties e.g. filing & scanning
  • Data inputting into the back-office system
  • Generating review invitation letters
  • Preparing client valuations
  • Adding legacy plans into the back-office system
  • Processing client investment/pension withdrawals
  • Preparation of regular review letters & reports

The Benefits

  • A salary of £27,000 to £30,000 (DOE)
  • 4 x Death in Service
  • Company pension with 5% employer contribution
  • 20 days annual leave, increasing to 25 after 3 years service

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of working within financial services, ideally related to financial advice
  • An understanding of financial planning principles, products and regulations
  • High professional administration skills
  • High professional communication skills both written and verbal
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Knowledge of financial planning software and platforms is desirable but not essential
