This role is central to developing, improving, and delivering top-tier Management Information (MI), insights, and reports for The Openwork Partnership and 2Plan within the AR Intelligence Unit. Bringing specialist analytical expertise, the position enables in-depth trend analysis, pinpoints root causes, and produces clear, actionable insights to guide senior stakeholders. You will ensure all reporting meets consistent, accurate standards and complies with regulatory requirements. The role also supports effective change management through a thorough understanding of business processes and by evaluating the impact of operational, regulatory, and procedural changes. Additionally, you will assist with monitoring and assurance activities to uphold robust systems and controls, helping to minimise consumer harm. This role is hybrid working, 3 days a week from the Swindon office.

Key Accountabilities

  • Design, develop and continuously improve MI reporting, dashboards and workflow reporting standards that support effective decision-making.
  • Produce clear, concise, insight-led reporting for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leaders and executive committees.
  • Spot emerging themes, trends and risks early—using behavioural indicators and root-cause analysis—to recommend practical actions and support delivery of solutions.
  • Act as a subject matter expert across Openwork and 2plan, strengthening control management and Appointed Representative (AR) monitoring activity.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of end-to-end processes, systems and procedures so that the impact of change is understood, assessed and clearly communicated.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-organisational projects and assurance initiatives, ensuring reporting, governance and control standards remain robust and fit for purpose.
  • Maintain clear procedure and process documentation and support internal/external audit readiness and responses (including keeping materials accurate and up to date).
  • Lead and contribute to monitoring, assurance and risk assessment activity to help reduce consumer harm and strengthen systems and controls.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Proven experience in an analytical/MI role, producing insight-led reporting that influences decisions.
  • Diploma-level qualification (preferred) or equivalent experience, with a commitment to continuous learning.
  • Strong product knowledge and a good working understanding of FCA regulation/expectations, ideally gained in an AR network or similarly regulated environment.
  • Understanding of assurance models, risk/control frameworks and governance, with strong commercial awareness of operational risk and controls.
  • Strong MI and reporting capability, including Power BI, Power Query and advanced Excel (data transformation, modelling and automation).
  • Strong analytical skills (trend identification and root-cause analysis) and the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insights and executive-ready narratives.
  • Comfortable using SQL Server (reading and adapting queries) and SharePoint to publish and maintain content.
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills; a confident, clear communicator able to challenge constructively and handle difficult conversations professionally.
