About the Opportunity

Join our Commercial Finance team as a Finance Business Partner supporting Omnis Investments. You’ll be the trusted finance voice for key stakeholders—bringing insight, constructive challenge, and clear recommendations that help shape decisions and drive sustainable performance. This role is based in our head office in Swindon, with 3 days a week required in the office.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Be the key finance partner for Omnis Investments—building strong relationships across product, commercial, operations and leadership.
  • Provide strategic insight and constructive challenge, turning financials into clear recommendations and decisions.
  • Represent Finance in leadership forums, ensuring implications, risks and opportunities are understood and acted on.
  • Lead planning (budgeting, forecasting and scenarios), including stress‑testing assumptions for market and flow volatility.
  • Track and explain performance—AuM, flows, fee revenue, KPIs, cost trends and profitability—highlighting what matters most.
  • Produce dashboards, reporting packs and concise commentary for senior stakeholders.
  • Build financial models and business cases for new products, pricing changes, operational investment and strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse fund and product profitability (including Value for Money), identifying levers to improve margins and cost efficiency.
  • Partner with FP&A, Revenue and fellow Finance Business Partners to align assumptions and insights across distribution, product and fund performance.
  • Improve processes, reporting and controls—raising the team’s analytical capability and ways of working.
  • Maintain awareness of relevant regulation (e.g., ICARA) and support Omnis Compliance when required.

What will you need to succeed?

  • Finance qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • Proven experience in Finance Business Partnering within Commercial Finance and/or FP&A.
  • Strong understanding of performance drivers, budgeting, forecasting and commercial analysis.
  • Fund management experience and working knowledge of relevant regulation.
  • Strong financial modelling skills (advanced Excel) with knowledge of product economics, revenue models and cost structures.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial information clearly and commercially.
  • Excellent analytical skills and a practical, outcomes-focused problem‑solving mindset.
  • A collaborative working style, with the confidence to provide robust, constructive challenge.
  • High attention to detail, strong ownership and sound professional judgement (comfortable working independently).
