This is a self employed role, based remotely with reasonable proximity to the business in Folkestone for occasional meetings.

For less experienced candidates, a closer proximity to the Folkestone office would be beneficial to allow for additional support and development.

Responsibilities of the role

  • Provide high-quality mortgage and protection advice tailored to client needs
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships
  • Generate new business opportunities through self-sourced activity and referrals
  • Manage client cases efficiently from enquiry through to completion
  • Handle your own administration and case management
  • Work compliantly and in line with regulatory requirements

What will you need to succeed?

  • Ce MAP (or equivalent) qualification
  • Mortgage and/or financial services industry experience
  • Advising experience preferred, although candidates with significant industry exposure will also be considered
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivated and entrepreneurial mindset
  • Ability to generate business through networking, referrals or existing relationships
  • Commitment to delivering excellent customer outcomes
  • Good understanding of mortgage and protection advice requirements
