We have a fantastic new opportunity for a full time Fleet Coordinator (Communication and Execution) based at Honey Pot Lane, Colsterworth nr Grantham. We’re looking for someone with excellent communication and customer focus skills to help with the successful execution of our daily transport plan. Ideally, you’ll have worked in a similar role before or be familiar with the agricultural farming sector or have previous transport experience. You’ll also need excellent time‑keeping skills, have a pro‑active approach to learning, development and continuous improvement.
We Are Looking For
- Preferred previous experience in a similar Transport/Logistics administrative role
- Excellent communication skills and a professional telephone manner
- Ability to problem-solve and suggest effective resolutions
- Excellent proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A self-starter, with good attention to detail and high levels of accuracy
- Flexible approach to working hours to meet operational needs
- Ability to meet deadlines in a time-pressed environment
- Will work with many teams, including senior management to provide progress updates and feedback
Key Responsibilities Include
- Communication with drivers and suppliers about planned jobs for the day
- Monitoring our daily plan to ensure it runs smoothly, enabling us to maintain high-level collection and delivery performances
- Communication with all internal teams to always maintain effective customer service
- Working with the vehicle management team to ensure all MOTs and servicing needs are adhered to
- Ensuring drivers are complying with drivers' hours and working time regulations
