I'm recruiting for a skilled individual to join a busy and well-established manufacturing team, working on a permanent day shift. Key Responsibilities- Set and operate CNC machines efficiently and safely
- Load CNC programs and produce first-off components for inspection and approval
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Maintain high levels of dimensional accuracy throughout production
- Complete production documentation accurately
- Carry out routine machine maintenance and maintain excellent housekeeping standards
- Report tooling wear, machine faults, and quality issues promptly
- Follow best machining practices to maximise efficiency and quality
- Support continuous improvement initiatives, including reducing set-up and cycle times
- Maintain work areas in line with 5S and workplace organisation standards
- Previous experience setting and operating CNC machinery
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality components
- A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement
- Good understanding of safe working practices within a manufacturing environment
- Reliable, motivated, and able to work effectively as part of a team
