We are supporting a technically advanced manufacturer strengthening its dimensional inspection capability. This is a hands-on metrology role, not a traditional quality engineering position.You will lead and execute inspection programmes across CMM and optical scanning systems, developing robust measurement strategies for complex components and assemblies.
The Role:
- Programme and operate CMM systems
- Lead optical scanning activities
- Develop advanced inspection strategies using GD&T
- Analyse dimensional data to identify trends and process variation
- Produce high-quality metrology documentation including FAIR and dimensional reports
What we’re looking for:
- Strong CMM programming experience
- Experience with optical/GOM scanning equipment
- Understanding of datum structures and inspection strategy development
- Background within precision manufacturing
- Detail-driven with confident technical communication skills
