We're supporting a well-established, values-led organisation with a strong reputation for quality and excellence, who are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join their UK leadership team. This is a broad, hands-on generalist role, leading both strategic HR initiatives and HR operations, while managing and developing a high-performing HR and Talent team. The role reports into a highly regarded HR Director and offers a positive, well-embedded HR landscape, alongside the opportunity to challenge, improve, and shape how people strategy supports the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of HR and Talent professionals
- Drive culture, values, engagement, performance management, and leadership development
- Deliver HR strategy aligned to business objectives
- Oversee UK HR operations including payroll providers, HR systems (Workday), reporting, and metrics
- Act as a trusted advisor to managers on employee relations and people management
- Lead HR projects including reward, benefits alignment, and organisational change
- Use job evaluation and salary benchmarking to support fair and competitive reward frameworks
- Ensure HR best practice, compliance, and continuous improvement
About You
This role suits a strong HR Manager or senior HR generalist who is confident technically, but whose real strength lies in people leadership. You will likely bring:
- Proven experience in an HR Manager / Senior HR Generalist role
- Hands-on experience leading and developing an HR team
- Strong knowledge of employee relations and UK employment law
