We re working with a leading high-performance engine manufacturer in Northampton that is continuing to invest in its manufacturing capability while delivering a number of exciting and lucrative engineering projects. They re looking for a Senior Production / Manufacturing Engineer to join the team, taking technical ownership of complex manufacturing processes and playing a key role in how precision components move from concept through to production. You ll be working across two advanced manufacturing facilities featuring 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC machining, mill-turns, lathes, grinding and automation, with design, manufacture and testing all carried out in-house. What you ll be doing: * Taking ownership of manufacturing processes from initial concept through to full production * Developing and optimising complex multi-axis CNC programs using CAM * Designing fixturing, tooling and manufacturing solutions for high-precision components * Leading NPI and process improvement activity while providing technical support to engineers and shopfloor teams What we re looking for: * Strong CAM programming experience
