The ONE Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global financial services business in their search for a Payroll Specialist, this role on an interim basis initially with the view to transitioning into is a 12-month fixed term contract and is fully remote. You will need to have your own laptop and a reliable and robust Wi-Fi connection.
The business is in the process of rolling out a new payroll system which means they need an extra pair of hands with the business as usual when it comes to payroll. It is essential that you have proven experience working in a global payroll role and experience of working with salaries in France, Germany, and Spain would be advantageous although not essential.
Day to day responsibilities:

Performing month/quarter/year end payroll activities for circa 1000 employees

Preparing data for payroll reporting.

Supporting internal and external audits, providing relevant data, and ensuring compliance with audits are met.

Liaising with HR in the preparation and processing of Payroll.

Supporting the finance team in resolving and reconciling items in payroll general ledger accounts.
The day rate for the role is paying between £150 – £200 inside IR35. Your hours will be flexible but there might be times when you are expected to work in accordance with overseas time differences when required.
The successful candidate will be expected to commit to a 12-month period.
