The ONE Group are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a global financial services business in their search for a Payroll Specialist to commit to a 6-month contract. This role is paying up to £20 an hour and will be paid on a day rate, which will be the equivalent to £39,000 per annum, depending on experience. This role is fully remote, therefore, you will need to have your own laptop and a reliable and robust Wi-Fi connection.
The business is in the process of rolling out a new payroll system which means they need an extra pair of hands with the business as usual when it comes to the UK payroll.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Performing month/quarter/year end payroll activities for circa 1000 employees
- Preparing data for payroll reporting.
- Supporting internal and external audits, providing relevant data, and ensuring compliance with audits are met.
- Liaising with HR in the preparation and processing of Payroll.
- Supporting the finance team in resolving and reconciling items in payroll general ledger accounts.
The successful candidate will be expected to commit to a 6-8 month period.
