Key Responsibilities
- Partner with senior stakeholders across multiple business areas, providing financial insight and commercial challenge.
- Take ownership of financial performance reporting, delivering meaningful analysis, forecasts and recommendations.
- Lead budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long‑term financial planning activities.
- Build and develop scenario models to support strategic business decisions.
- Deliver timely and accurate management accounts within a fast‑paced reporting environment.
- Present financial performance updates and recommendations to senior leadership teams and Directors.
- Support year‑end and interim audit activities, acting as a key contact for external auditors.
- Maintain ownership of balance sheet controls, reconciliations and governance processes.
- Drive capital expenditure governance, including business case review, investment appraisal and ROI analysis.
- Identify risks, opportunities and performance improvement initiatives across the business.
- Champion continuous improvement across finance processes, reporting and controls.
Skills & Experience Required
- Fully qualified accountant or Finalist (CIMA, ACCA or equivalent).
- Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
- Proven ability to influence and challenge stakeholders at varying levels.
- Advanced analytical and financial modelling capabilities.
- Commercially minded with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
