I'm working with a growing, global business who are looking to bring in a Management Accountant on an immediate basis. This is a really nice opportunity for someone part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA) who wants a hands-on role with real visibility, working closely within the finance function and wider teams across the business. This is a broad, commercially focused position ideal if you enjoy getting into the detail but also influencing decision-making.
You'll be responsible for:
- Supporting month-end close and reporting packs
- Assisting with year-end processes and statutory accounts
- Liaising with auditors and external advisors
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Producing analysis on performance vs budget/forecast
- Providing insights and recommendations to improve performance
- Working closely with operational teams to drive efficiency and value
- Supporting WIP and stock accounting processes
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Handling large datasets and building meaningful reports in Excel
