This particular area of the business is at the beginning part of the journey to the cloud and is retiring the on-prem workflow and re-platforming to the cloud. This is a high-profile challenge within the organization and is a highly rewarding opportunity that is being built from the ground up with end-to-end visibility.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer who is a subject matter expert in AWS, with some experience in broadcast background. Though this is an engineering role where you will be expected to be hands-on, we are looking for individuals with architecture capabilities.

Responsibilities of the Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS):
  • Design, implement, and maintain audio broadcast cloud infrastructure in AWS, focusing on scalability, reliability, and CI/CD automation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture, optimize workflows, and ensure governance alignment.
  • Apply expert knowledge of AWS, containerized environments (e.g. Docker), and IaC tools like Terraform and Ansible for infrastructure performance and cost efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in DevOps and DevSecOps, including observability, security, networking, API integration, and disaster recovery.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical leadership, ideally with experience in broadcast workflows, audio/video streaming, and Agile methodologies.
Key Requirements:
  • Extensive proven experience of AWS Cloud and knowledge of other cloud platforms such as Azure and GCP.
  • Proven experience in containerized environments (Docker etc.) and associated tooling such as GitLab.
  • Proven experience in coding with a programming/scripting language (e.g. Java, Golang, Python, Bash).
  • Background in Broadcasting/Media/Radio or Video is essential.

Interviews are being arranged for across this week, so if this sounds like you and is of interest, then get in touch right away by sending your CV and one of our team will be in touch with you should your application be considered.
