Role: Health & Safety Manager Salary : £35,000 – £40,000 per year Location: Sawtry, Cambridgeshire Duration: Permanent Job Hours: 08:30am – 5pm Monday – Friday Wanted: Experienced Health & Safety Manager with a charismatic and energetic personality to join my client at their Sawtry site. My client is a global leader in their field of designing & manufacturing bespoke products for a variety of sectors. Key Responsibilities: Ensure compliance across all sites and teams with all relevant Statutory Regulations, regarding both Health & Safety and the Environment and maintain an up-to-date awareness of future legislation, advising the business on any impact. Conducting site audits on a periodic basis (both arranged and unannounced) Delivering safety toolbox talks Conducting regular safety meetings. Produce site risk assessments and method statements. Enforcing policies and procedures across the company. Arranging and overseeing all safety training for staff Management of the company training matrix and associated training records Assisting HR with the development of our mentor/ apprenticeship programmes Responsible for fixed inspections and service schedule for factory machinery and equipment including certifications.
