They're looking for a Group Reporting Accountant to join their growing team in Peterborough - someone who can bring structure, accuracy, and insight to a complex, evolving business.
This role isn't just about producing accounts. It's about being at the heart of how the firm operates - partnering with auditors, driving process improvements, strengthening controls, and supporting forecasting, tax, and systems development.
You'll be:
- Producing statutory accounts under UK GAAP and IFRS
- Owning balance sheet reconciliations
- Building strong relationships with external auditors and advisors
- Supporting FP&R with budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
- Enhancing financial systems and internal controls
- Managing tax-related activities, including corporation tax computations, VAT reporting, and liaising with external tax advisors
