I am seeking a fully qualified Group Accountant with strong consolidation experience to join a growing, dynamic, international business on a 6-month fixed-term contract. Reporting directly to senior leadership you will play a pivotal role across multiple entities. This position will initially focus on delivering key consolidation work, before transitioning into a more business-as-usual role covering month-end, payroll, and ongoing financial operations.
The Role
In this broad and varied position, you will be the sole finance representative for their UK operation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and valuable commercial insight. Key responsibilities include:
- Full ownership of day-to-day finance operations across multiple entities
- Consolidation of Group accounts
- Managing credit control, accounts payable and receivable, and VAT
- Payroll management for UK and overseas entities
- Reconciling multi-currency bank accounts
- Preparing management and financial accounts
- Supporting senior leadership with reporting, analysis, and decision-making
About You
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven, hands-on experience with group consolidations (essential)
- Commercially minded with strong analytical skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
- Able to start immediately or at short notice
