I am pleased to be partnering with an established international organisation based in Cambridge who are seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to join their global finance team on a fixed term contract for 1 year. This is a varied and hands-on role supporting month-end processes, international reporting, and year-end statutory accounts. Working closely with the Senior Finance Manager, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple entities and overseas offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Support month-end processes including journals, reconciliations and cost analysis.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations, including fixed assets.
- Review monthly financial reports from international offices.
- Manage intercompany reconciliations and quarterly adjustments.
- Assist with consolidated reporting for senior leadership.
- Support statutory accounts preparation and year-end audit processes.
- Assist with budgets and forecasts.
About You
- Strong finance background - preferably within an international business.
- Part-qualified / finalist (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) or qualified by experience.
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems.
- Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Confident communicator with strong attention to detail.
