My client, a global business with headquarters in Cambridge, is looking for an experienced Credit Control Team Leader to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a high-performing Accounts Receivable/Credit Control team within a fast-paced international business. You'll be responsible for driving operational excellence, delivering exceptional customer service, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the finance function.
As Credit Control Team Leader, you will:
- Lead, motivate and develop a small Credit Control/Accounts Receivable team, setting clear objectives and driving performance
- Ensure a high standard of service delivery through effective workload planning and team management
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, resolving issues and identifying opportunities for service improvements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, helping to streamline processes and embed best practice
- Monitor team KPIs, ensuring service levels are consistently achieved or exceeded
- Maintain robust financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations
- Ensure the integrity of financial records, identifying and escalating any issues where required
