The One Group are recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join an established business in Cambourne on a full time, permanent basis.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm

Reporting to: Credit Control Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Actively manage and monitor the collection of outstanding customer balances, working towards agreed monthly cash collection targets.
  • Providing clear updates on credit control status, outstanding balances and required actions to colleagues.
  • Maintain credit control processes and procedures, including preparing and distributing aged debt reports, issuing customer statements and dunning letters, and applying “On Stop” procedures or considering approval of further product deliveries.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, resolve queries that may delay cash collection, process daily cash entries and allocations, and enter monthly direct debit payments.
  • Support wider credit control activities, including new customer account set-up procedures, promoting and processing vendor finance applications.

Requirements:

  • Experience within a Credit Control position.
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.

Benefits:
