Overview
The One Group have partnered with a huge name within the local area who are looking to recruit an Assistant Management Accountant on a full time, permanent basis. This is a newly created role, and offers huge scope for progression and development. You will work from their offices on the outskirts of Spalding.
Working Hours
Working Hours: 8:30am-5pm (1 hour lunch) or 9am-5pm (30 min lunch)
Responsibilities
- Support with the preparation of monthly management accounts for a group of companies
- Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments
- Intercompany accounts reconciliation
- Daily cashflow monitoring
- Raising and checking month end payment runs
- Monthly VAT returns
- Debtor monitoring & control
Requirements
- Studying towards ACCA qualification
- Prior experience in a month end/management accounts focused position
- Experience using Sage – desired not essential
