The One Group are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant Manager to join a rapidly expanding accountancy practice in Stamford, on a full time permanent basis.
Schedule
- Monday - Friday 8.30am-5pm
Responsibilities
- Acting as a key member of the accounts team, assisting in managing a diverse portfolio of clients (Limited companies, Sole Traders and Partnerships)
- Reviewing accounts, corporation tax and VAT returns, ensuring review points & queries are cleared, ready for partner review
- Involvement in accounts preparation, accounts reviews, corporation tax computations, personal tax, possible tax planning
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, to answer queries and provide advice when needed
- Assisting in management of a team of 5 staff, including advising on technical queries
- Responsibility of work allocation and job completion, ensuring deadlines are met
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA qualified with experience working in an accountancy practice
- Use of cloud accounting software, including the ability to advise both clients and staff
