The One Group are working with an established organisation in Cambridge, who are looking to appoint an Accounts Administrator to join their finance team on a full time, permanent basis.
Schedule: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm, 5 days per week on-site. Please note there is no parking on-site.
You'll be getting involved in a really varied workload covering billing, bank reconciliations, high-volume payments and receipts, journals, balance sheet reconciliations and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Managing and processing billing across a large number of individual accounts
- Processing high volumes of payments and receipts
- Completing bank and balance sheet reconciliations
- Allocating payments accurately across accounts
- Posting journals and investigating discrepancies
- Supporting with quarter-end and year-end processes
- Producing reports and analysing financial information
- Managing outstanding balances and supporting with credit control activity
Requirements:
- 1 year+ experience working within a finance role
- Good Excel skills
- Accounting system experience
- AAT Level 3 or a relevant degree would be beneficial
You might be a Finance Assistant, Accounts Assistant or Finance Administrator ready for something with a bit more responsibility, or perhaps a finance/accounting graduate who has picked up some solid practical experience since graduating.
