A globally recognised international brand is looking to appoint an experienced Indirect Tax Manager into a newly created role, overseeing the group’s global VAT/GST compliance and reporting activities across multiple jurisdictions. This is an outstanding opportunity for a commercially minded tax professional to make their mark within a highly visible international business, playing a key role in driving best-in-class compliance, governance and digital tax transformation initiatives. You’ll work closely with senior finance, IT and operational stakeholders in a collaborative international environment, combining technical expertise with business partnering and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing VAT/GST compliance across multiple international jurisdictions
- Overseeing preparation, review and submission of indirect tax returns
- Own VAT account reconciliations, safeguard reporting integrity
- Monitoring global VAT and e-invoicing developments and assessing business impact
- Leading implementation and management of e-invoicing and real-time reporting requirements
- Partnering with finance and IT teams to embed compliant processes within ERP systems
- Supporting governance, controls, automation and process improvement initiatives
- Advising on cross-border transactions, supply chain changes and new business activities
