What an opportunity for a Principal Commercial Officer to join this award winning, commercial organisation based in Stevenage on a permanent basis. You will be working in an active, involved and motivated team where you will be involved in the following:
- Business Winning - key player in the winning of new contracts agreements and opportunities of medium to high complexity.
- Negotiations - with support gaining acceptance and agreement on issues and amendments t ensure contractual compliance
- Commercial Risk and Opportunity Management - identify potential risks and opportunities associated with bids and contracts
- Build and maintain relationships, focussing on collaboration
- Communicating with stakeholders at all levels
- Working under pressure to achieve deadlines
You will need the following experience:-
- Advanced negotiation skills
- Good process and change management
- Experience of managing more complex, high value contracts
- Experienced in a broad range of commercial issues and skills
- Commercial understanding from customer through to supplier
- Aware of Import and Export restrictions and licencing requirements
- Ability to draft or modify terms and conditions
- Ability to understand and use pricing and costing models
You will need to be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship
In return they offer a salary of £48-50,000 plus bonus, fabulous benefits and hybrid working (2-3 days on site).
