Opportunity Summary
My client is seeking an experienced Aircraft Structures Technician to join their team. The primary responsibility of this role is to carry out repairs on aircraft flying controls and components. This includes the fabrication of repair parts, working in accordance with the latest Structural Repair Manuals and Component Maintenance Manuals.
Day to Day Life
- Perform structural repairs and component work as per SRM and CMM guidelines.
- Fabricate and fit repair parts as required.
- Liaise closely with Certified Inspectors to coordinate daily tasks.
- Communicate with the production office to obtain technical information and ensure correct documentation is completed in line with the Company’s Maintenance Organisation Exposition (MOE).
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and complies with current maintenance data and procedures.
Skills and Experience Required:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in aircraft structural repairs.
- Strong understanding of manufacturer production drawings and maintenance manuals.
- Eligible to live and work in the UK.
- Experience working in a workshop or EASA/UK Part 145 MRO environment.
