This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced statistical geneticist to join this Cambridge based company. You will get the chance to showcase your talent in bioinformatics & statistical genetic analysis to support their exciting research for their direct target discovery technology platform.

You will also be tasked with curating and analysing their multi omics data from large scale genetics datasets as well as having the opportunity to function as a subject leader in support of informatics and wet lab projects.

Required skills:

  • PhD in Genetics/Bioinformatics or similar subject
  • Understanding and use of GWAS, BOLT-LMM, gene burden tests
  • Visualisation of genetics test data (Genomics Viewer, matplotlib )
  • Comfortable working in a Linux environment
  • Knowledge of basic bioinformatics & NGS processing/analysis (GATK, bwa , plink )
