Quality inspectors who are hands on and have a pragmatic and realistic approach to inspection and engineering, I have an exciting opportunity to work for an approachable down to earth manager within a sub contract machine shop. The company manufacture and supply precision machined components into the scientific and medical industries and are constantly growing.
They have a flexible approach to working hours whether that be an 8am-5pm or 9am-6pm and there is overtime available and even weekend work if there’s an appetite for extra hours. They like to get the team together to have monthly bacon sarnies or pizzas and even do quarterly nights out for curries and beers or even a game of bowling.
Now what’s required? The company aren’t necessarily looking for the finished article but expect you to be able to use manual inspection tools and know your way around an engineering drawing. You don’t necessarily have to be a CMM Programmer however experience operating a CMM would give you a distinct advantage.
If you’re an inspector or even a time served machinist who is looking to get off the machines, you have a pragmatic and realistic approach to inspection and get a buzz out of finding solutions to problems then we would love to hear from you.
