A leading precision engineering business in St Neots is looking to hire a CNC Tool Setter to support their Milling department. This is an ideal opportunity for a current CNC Machinist who wants to move off the machines and take a more structured, organised role within tooling, setup and production support.
Youβll join a modern, well-invested facility producing high-value engineered components for a wide range of industries where you have the opportunity to make the role your own due to a retirement within the team.
What you'll be doing:
- Build and assemble tooling according to setup information.
- Pre-set tools accurately using a Zoller pre-setter.
- Manage tooling stock, holders, fixtures and collets using TMS software.
- Ensure tooling is prepped and ready so CNC Setters can keep production flowing.
What we're looking for:
- Background in precision engineering CNC machining or similar.
- Strong understanding of tooling, engineering equipment and workshop processes.
- Organised, reliable and able to prioritise workload effectively.
- Positive attitude with willingness to learn new techniques and equipment.
