Key Responsibilities- Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
- Advising on wills, estate planning, probate and estate administration
- Supporting clients with lasting powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning
- Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, offering clear and empathetic advice
- Contributing to the development of the wider team, including mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
- Keeping up to date with legislative changes and ensuring compliance
- Supporting business development activity, including networking and building referral relationships
- Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (England & Wales)
- Around 3+ years’ experience within private client
- Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with a genuine focus on client care
- Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive and adaptable approach
- STEP qualification or working towards
- Experience contributing to business development activity
