The One Group are recruiting for a Semi-Senior Accountant to join an established and reputable accountancy firm in Peterborough on a full-time, permanent basis. You’ll find an environment that supports professional development, encourages collaboration, and values work-life balance. You will also be working with a diverse portfolio of clients across the UK and internationally.
Responsibilities
- Preparing moderate to large accounts preparation assignments, including tax computations
- Producing monthly management accounts and VAT returns where required
- Reviewing your own work and that of junior colleagues before submission to senior staff
- Resolving client queries with minimal supervision
- Providing support, training, and mentoring to more junior team members
Requirements
- Actively studying towards your AAT/ACA or ACCA
- Experience of working in an accountancy practice in the UK, preparing sets of accounts
