An established and growing professional services firm is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to play a key role in supporting its continued expansion. This is a broad, hands-on role with real influence, suited to a confident leader who enjoys improving processes, motivating teams, and ensuring the smooth running of a multi-office operation. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operations across multiple offices, ensuring productivity and performance targets are met
  • Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and organisational effectiveness
  • Set, monitor, and review performance goals for teams and individuals
  • Recruit, onboard, and train high-performing staff to support profitability, compliance, and service standards
  • Maintain project timelines and ensure tasks are delivered effectively
  • Delegate responsibilities appropriately while embedding policies, procedures, and cultural values
  • Create a positive, motivated working environment that supports high standards and quality
  • Resolve internal staff issues in a fair and constructive manner
  • Provide guidance and feedback to support individual development and skills growth

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a similar office, operations, or general management role
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Solid understanding of operational processes and business management
  • Willingness and ability to travel between multiple office locations

Working Model

Multi-site, office-based role across Peterborough and Leighton Buzzard. Travel is required to both sites.
