The Accountancy & Finance Division at The ONE Group is currently working with a forward-thinking and international manufacturing business in recruiting an experienced Head of Finance. A senior finance leadership opportunity within a well-established manufacturing business operating across multiple European markets. This role offers the chance to shape financial strategy, influence board-level decisions, and drive performance across a complex, multi-entity structure. You will play a key part in supporting growth, improving efficiency, and strengthening overall financial position.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead financial strategy across UK and European entities, ensuring alignment with wider business goals
- Provide clear, data-driven insight to senior leadership to guide decision making
- Oversee financial performance across multiple jurisdictions and currencies
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, and full financial planning cycles
- Deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
- Analyse cost trends, identify savings opportunities, and improve profitability
- Implement and maintain cost control frameworks across departments
- Evaluate investment opportunities, including M&A and capital expenditure projects
- Support strategic growth initiatives and business expansion plans
- Oversee tax planning and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Identify financial risks and implement mitigation strategies
- Partner with senior stakeholders and board members on long-term planning
Skills & Experience Required
- Fully qualified ACCA, ACA, CIMA or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in senior finance roles
- Proven background in manufacturing or industrial environments
- Experience managing multi-entity and multi-country finance operations
- Strong financial planning, forecasting, and risk management expertise
- Advanced Excel and ERP systems knowledge
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and present clear insights
- Strong commercial awareness with experience influencing business strategy
- Lean Six Sigma or process improvement certification
- Experience in supply chain finance or working capital optimisation
- Involvement in mergers and acquisitions, from due diligence to integration
