The Accountancy & Finance Division are exclusively partnering with a fantastic and reputable business based in Northampton. You will be part of a growing finance team where your insight and influence can shape commercial decisions across a thriving business. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified finance professional who enjoys partnering with senior stakeholders, driving commercial performance, and delivering real value through data-driven insight and strategic analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead commercial finance business partnering, providing financial insight and challenge to the commercial team
- Deliver high-quality reporting and analysis to inform business decision-making
- Support the budgeting and forecasting process, focusing on commercial and margin performance
- Take ownership of pricing and costing models, offering robust financial support on customer pricing strategies
- Work closely with the commercial team to support product launches and track performance
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive process efficiency
- Develop and report key KPIs, ensuring clear visibility of business drivers
- Produce monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP) reports and performance summaries
Skills & Experience Required
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong analytical and Excel skills with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Excellent communication skills, able to influence and build strong relationships across functions
- Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements
- Commercially focused with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Confident working under pressure and delivering to tight deadlines
Desirable
- Experience in commercial accounting or pricing and costing models
- Exposure to BI systems
- Experience supporting product margin analysis
Working Model
Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Hybrid – 2/3 days office and 2/3 days work from home, office is Northampton.
