Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a varied caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion
  • Advising on wills, estate planning, probate and estate administration
  • Supporting clients with lasting powers of attorney and inheritance tax planning
  • Building strong, long-term relationships with clients, offering clear and empathetic advice
  • Contributing to the development of the wider team, including mentoring junior colleagues where appropriate
  • Keeping up to date with legislative changes and ensuring compliance
  • Supporting business development activity, including networking and building referral relationships
Skills & Experience Required
  • Qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive (England & Wales)
  • Around 3+ years' experience within private client
  • Confident managing your own caseload with minimal supervision

  • Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities
  • A proactive and adaptable approach
  • STEP qualification or working towards
  • Experience contributing to business development activity
