A well-established UK charity is hiring a Direct Marketing Manager to take ownership of high-volume, income-generating campaigns. This is a hands-on delivery role, focused on direct mail and direct response campaigns, reaching 50,000+ supporters at a time.
The role involves:
- Leading campaigns from brief through to delivery, reporting, and optimisation.
- Planning and delivering direct marketing campaigns across direct mail, email, and supporting channels.
- Writing briefs and working closely with designers and copywriters.
- Managing copy rounds, editing, and proofing to final output.
- Owning data selection, segmentation, and exclusions with data teams.
- Overseeing print, fulfilment, and mailing processes.
- Tracking campaign performance, response rates, and ROI.
- Producing insights and recommendations to improve future campaigns.
- Managing multiple campaigns across the year (5+ major campaigns).
- Supporting and optimising supporter journeys from acquisition through to retention.
