The ONE Group are recruiting for an experienced Financial Controller to join an established and growing business based in March, Cambridgeshire. This is a key leadership position within the business, reporting directly into the Managing Director and taking ownership of the finance function. It’s a genuinely broad role combining strong financial control with commercial insight, business partnering and the opportunity to influence how the business moves forward.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-4.30pm/8.30am-5pm (40 hours per week). This role would require you to work from the office 5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

  • Ownership of the monthly management accounts and month-end process
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting and scenario planning
  • Cash flow forecasting and working capital management
  • Providing commercial insight around customer and product profitability, margins, pricing and investment
  • Producing meaningful KPI reporting and information for senior stakeholders
  • Supporting audit, statutory reporting, VAT and corporation tax requirements
  • Leading, coaching and developing the finance team

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA) - essential
  • Strong experience across management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow and financial control - essential
  • Previous experience within manufacturing/FMCG/Food manufacturing environments - advantageous

£65,000-£75,000 per annum, depending on experience. Monthly mobile phone allowance. 25 days holiday + bank holidays. Death In Service cover (3x).
