Are you ready to take ownership of manufacturing in a high-growth environment and help shape a business as it scales? This is a rare opportunity to join an ambitious company at a pivotal stage, where your expertise in scaling production and implementing automated processes will make a tangible impact.
This is more than a management role – it is a chance to leave your mark on a growing company, shaping how manufacturing evolves and directly influencing the next stage of growth.
If you’re motivated by challenge, excited by the opportunity to build, and want to see the impact of your work in real time, this could be the move you’ve been waiting for.
Let me set some of the scene……………
You will lead manufacturing operations on site, working closely with the leadership team to assess current processes, identify gaps, and implement improvements that will drive the business forward. With direct management responsibilities, this is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll combine strategic oversight with practical problem-solving.
The challenge – and the reward – lies in building upon a scalable, efficient, and compliant manufacturing function that can meet ambitious growth plans. This is your chance to make something your own and be part of a transformative journey.
On a day to day basis you will:
- Take ownership of on-site manufacturing, ensuring output meets demand while maintaining quality and compliance.
- Assess current processes, identify gaps, and introduce semi-automated or fully automated solutions to increase capacity within manufacturing and supply chain functions.
- Present clear business cases to C-Suite and investors to support scale-up decisions.
- Review and implement processes to meet regulatory standards (ideally with experience in ISO 13485/IVDR).
- Troubleshoot operational challenges and ensure efficient day-to-day production.
- Lead and grow the manufacturing team, driving continuous improvement.
- Collaborate across the business, working closely with product development, quality, and leadership.
- Champion lean, data-driven processes and explore new tools and systems (experience with Jira a plus).
- Ensure maintenance & repair of manufacturing equipment
What do we need from you:
- Strong background in engineering with proven experience in manufacturing operations leadership.
- Demonstrable success in scaling production and introducing semi-automated or automated processes.
- Experience operating under regulatory frameworks, ISO 13485 would be an added bonus.
- A track record of presenting compelling business cases to senior leadership or investors.
- Hands-on troubleshooting skills and the ability to balance strategic planning with practical execution.
- Experience managing teams and suppliers within a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
