I have exclusively partnered with a growing manufacturing organisation that is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to be based at their successful Cambridge site. This role will report directly to the Financial Controller and offers an excellent development opportunity for a driven Assistant Accountant or Management Accountant who is eager to grow, learn, and continue with their professional studies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end preparation and close
- Prepare weekly and monthly board packs
- Post journals and provide detailed variance analysis
- Support the annual budgeting and forecasting processes
- Prepare costing reports, reconcile balance sheet accounts, and post month-end journals
- Manage costings, accruals, prepayments, and reconciliations
- Business partner across the wider organisation to support financial decision-making
Qualifications and Skills:
- AAT qualified or currently studying ACCA/CIMA
- Experience within an SME environment is desirable
- Self-motivated with strong business partnering skills
- A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop
- Strong Excel skills and confidence in data manipulation
