Key Responsibilities- Build and manage production schedules across CNC machining, ensuring capacity is used effectively
- Sequence work intelligently based on machines, tooling and available resource
- Work closely with engineering and production to make sure routes and cycle times stack up
- Keep control of WIP, materials and priorities to avoid bottlenecks and delays
- Act as the link between sales and the shop floor, keeping everyone aligned on delivery
- Solid background in production planning within CNC machining or precision engineering
- Strong understanding of milling, turning and multi-axis environments
- Comfortable reading drawings and understanding how parts flow through production
- Confident using ERP/MRP systems, with good Excel skills
- Organised, proactive and able to juggle multiple priorities without losing control
