Are you a People Partner who likes to be out and about in your region, working in partnership and being responsible for driving and implementing the people strategy across your area (the North)? Our client, well-known in its field, is looking for a People Partner to join them on a permanent basis.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day HR which will include:
- Talent management
- Succession planning
- Performance management
- Appraisals
- Development and inductions
Recruiting the most energetic and engaging individuals:
- Support all recruitment of management roles
- Work with your stakeholders to ensure each area has the right team, in the right place, at the right time
- Manage proactive vacancies
- Plan and hold internal assessment days
- Own and lead the onboarding process for all management starters
- Identify training centres in your area and deliver training
Employee Relations:
- Manage ER cases when applicable
- Support absence cases
- Support with note taking at ER meetings when needed
Engagement:
- You will be the ambassador of team management, sharing best practices within your area
- Review action plans
- Conduct exit interviews for all managers
- Attend team meetings within your area
You will need the following experience:
- Multi-site HR operations experience in either leisure, hospitality or the retail sector
- Broad understanding of HR
- Flexibility to operate on board policy level as well as detailed case management level
- Strong commercial awareness
- Strong relationship and rapport building
- Ideally CIPD Qualified or equivalent
In return, they offer a salary of £48,500 - £53,500 plus £5k car allowance (when entered into the EV Car Scheme). Area travel required, 5 days in your area.
