Would you like to work for a unique global brand that are specialists in designing and manufacturing high quality products that are stocked in over 5000 retailers globally?
This long-standing client of The ONE Group are on the hunt for their next Health, Safety & Facilities manager to oversee the main site & two distribution centres within 30 mins of the main site.
This unique role is a split role between facilities management and HSE due to the nature of the business you will be expected to improve the office & warehouse environments whilst leading and driving a Health and Safety culture.
Our client is not shy to splash the cash when it comes to improvements boasting a £1million spend on their main office since 2016 and with multiple projects in the pipeline for the next 12 months so plenty to get your teeth stuck into.
What's involved?
- Ensure site compliance overseeing latest H&S / Fire legislation /Frist Aid via regular reviews and audits, liaising with consultants / regulatory bodies
- First Aid & Fire Safety – Risk Assessment / training, investigating accidents and strategies for future
- Project manage contractors, tender, quotes, risk assessment, timelines, internal communication and follow ups
- Direct, coordinate and plan essential services such as reception, security, maintenance, mail, archiving, stationary, cleaning, support catering, waste disposal and recycling.
- Write and enforce Safety SOPs & policies
- IOSH / NEBOSH / FM Qualification / First Aid / BSc Safety Management / Hazardous materials management.
- Knowledge of CAD or other office layout planning tools such as Visio would be an advantage.
